To input current into the vacuum system or the vacuum envelope, the vacuum electrode lead-in should be used. Between these wires and wires, and between wires and the wall of the vacuum chamber (pipe), electrical insulation, vacuum sealing and certain current load should be met.
The selection of electrode lead-in wire and electrode sealing material depends on the working voltage, current, frequency, temperature and so on. Generally, the electrode lead-in line is divided into a permanent sealing electrode lead-in line and a detachable sealing electrode lead-in line. The former is used in high-temperature baking and various vacuum measurement gauges, and the latter is used in general high vacuum pumping systems.
Permanently sealed electrode lead-in adopts glass and metal sealing or ceramic metal sealing. According to the shape, it is divided into rod seal, core column seal, ribbon seal, disc seal and cup seal, etc.
High-current or high-voltage lead-in wires usually use a combination of two types of sealing. Lead-in wires and glass (or ceramic) are permanently sealed. The sealed electrode leads and vacuum chamber (pipes) are sealed by detachable (or semi-detachable). .
