The task of vacuum leak detection

Leakage is absolute. The so-called non-leakage means that the leak rate of the leak hole is far less than the allowable leak rate or the minimum detectable leak rate of the leak detector.

The task of leak detection is:

1) Use appropriate methods to quickly determine whether the air leak is the main contradiction.

2) Determine whether the leak rate is within the allowable range.

3) Choose an appropriate leak detection method to find out the exact location of the leak for repair.

It must be pointed out that in addition to stipulating that the total leakage rate must not exceed a certain allowable value for some products, it also stipulates that a single leakage hole must not exceed a certain characteristic value, so as to avoid the formation of corrosion centers. As long as a leak exceeds the specified value, it must be found in a certain location to be repaired.
